Khalid is one of our experienced mountain guides Graduated from the Mountain guides school CFAMM (Centre de Formation Aux Métiers des Montagnes) he is the manager and the driving force behind the Atlas Trekking Morocco and one of its co-founder:
Khalid was born and grew up in the happy valley of Ait Bouguemez in the heart of the high Atlas Mountains in a Berber family, his passion and sense of humor makes him one of our best guides.
And for him it’s a great pleasure to show you the different regions of Morocco that he knows well and which he particularly attached. He understands adventure and travel and he can make your adventure vacation dreams a reality.
Oulaid He was born in the small village of Timmite Ait Bouguemez also called Happy Valley in the heart of the Atlas. He got his baccalaureate in the mountain city of Azilal. For one year he went to university to study in the department of English studies. Then shifting his career path to mountain guiding. So he moved back to the mountains and took the course for guide at CFAMM. (Centre de Formation Aux Métiers de Montagne) in Tabant. He has more than 10 years of experience with tourists, 6 of them as muleteer and cook. After graduating from the CFAMM, he obtained the certification for mountain and desert tour guide. Since then he has worked successfully as guide. He speaks fluent English, Arabic and Tamazight (Berber), some German, and some French. His passion for the mountains and desert is what let him leave university and become a mountain guide.
