Experience an unforgettable 2 Days Toubkal Summit Trek from Marrakech and stand at the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco and the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 m (13,671 feet).
This challenging but rewarding private trek takes us from the mountain village of Imlil, in the heart of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains, through spectacular valleys and rugged mountain landscapes to the Toubkal Refuge. The following morning, we will make an early ascent toward the summit, where panoramic views stretch across the surrounding Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, far beyond.
Our 2 day Mount Toubkal trek is designed for hikers who have limited time in Morocco but want to experience one of the country's most iconic mountain adventures. The itinerary combines a private transfer from Marrakech, a scenic hike through the Toubkal National Park, an overnight stay at the mountain refuge, and an early morning summit attempt before descending to Imlil and returning to Marrakech.
Although the trek is relatively short, it is physically demanding. The second day involves a substantial ascent to 4,167m, followed by a long descent to Imlil. Good physical fitness, appropriate hiking equipment and previous mountain hiking experience are recommended.
With an experienced Atlas Trekking Morocco mountain guide and support from our muleteer team, we can concentrate on enjoying the scenery, mountain villages and unique atmosphere of the High Atlas while we take care of the local logistics.

Toubkal Summit Trek from Marrakech at a Glance:
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1,750m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)
Start with a scenic drive from Marrakech to the village of Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. Begin your trek through snow-covered trails to reach the Toubkal base camp Refuge. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the base camp.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal Summit (4,167m) – Imlil – Marrakech
Set off early for the ascent to Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak. Relish spectacular panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert from the summit. Descend back through the Toubkal base camp to Imlil, where a private transfer awaits to take you back to Marrakech.
