If you are a mountain biker and you like cycling, MTB. Have already explored Marrakech and its famous Square of Djemmaa el Fana, it’s time for a full day trip Morocco mountain biking to discover more of the magic of the country over your bike.
This mountain biking day trip excursion starts from Marrakech around 9 a.m with a drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, Asni weekly market every Saturday then to Imlil (1750m) the starting point of your mountain bike tour. Exploring the rural valley of Imlil at the foot of the Toubkal summit. It is the highest peak in North Africa (4167m), after that discovering typical mountain valleys. These valleys are home to tiny hamlets and villages of the ethnic Berbers, a herding and farming community. In addition to Visit their homes and interact with them to know more about their traditions and costumes. See their terraced fields of corn and barley and get a glimpse of their day to day living
From Imlil (1750) we change the car to ride our bikes. After that we cycle up through a good road to cross the Tamatert pass (2279m). Enjoy spectacular views above the snowed high atlas peaks and across different valleys and mountains. Continue cycling down Imnane valley and cross many local Berber villages. Pick up and drive back to Marrakech ending the life time experience of Morocco Atlas Mountain Biking.
