The 4 Days Atlas Mountains Hike and Sahara Tour combines two of Morocco’s most remarkable landscapes: the rugged peaks and valleys of the High Atlas Mountains and the peaceful dunes of the Sahara Desert. This carefully designed journey brings together trekking, Berber culture, breathtaking scenery, and desert adventure in one memorable experience.

Our adventure begins in the Atlas Mountains, where we will trek through beautiful valleys, traditional Berber villages, and spectacular mountain scenery. The highlight of the trek is the ascent of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 metres. From the summit, we can enjoy impressive panoramic views across the surrounding High Atlas Mountains.

After the mountain adventure, the journey continues south toward the Zagora Desert. Along the way, discover dramatic landscapes and experience a different side of Morocco. Upon reaching the desert, enjoy a traditional camel ride through the Zagora dunes before spending the night at a Berber desert camp under the vast desert sky.

4 Day Atlas to Sahara Desert at a Glance:

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1750m) – Neltner Refuge (3207m)

• Depart from Marrakech to Imlil.

• Begin the hike to the Neltner Refuge (3207m), nestled at the base of Mount Toubkal.

Day 2: Refuge (3207m) – Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Aroumd (1900m) – Imlil (1750m)

• Early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal.

• Descend through Aroumd and return to Imlil.

Day 3: Imlil (1750m) – Tizi n'Tichka (2260m) – Draa Valley – Zagora Desert

• Drive through the scenic Tizi n'Tichka pass.

• Explore the Draa Valley en route to Zagora.

Day 4: Zagora – Tizi n'Tichka (2260m) – Marrakech

• Experience a camel trek and sunrise in the dunes.

• Return to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
