- Day 2 : Marrakech - Ouzoud waterfalls - Ait Bouguemez
After an early breakfast in Marrakech, pick up and drive to towards the distant High Atlas Mountains and one of the most unspoiled parts of the Atlas. Break time en the way to discover the famous Ouzoud waterfalls. Then we continue driving trough an amazing mountain road to reach the picturesque Valley of Bouguemmez.
5 hrs drive / 1 hrs walk / Meals: B, L, D / Night in a Gite (guesthouse).
- Day 3 : Ait Bouguemmez (1800m) - Ikiss n Arouss (2400m)
Accompanied by our muleteers and trek team, we hike through the Bougemmez Valley, known locally as 'Happy Valley' because of the demeanour and friendliness of its inhabitants. Discovering the local lifestyle, vibrant green fields and walnut groves, Berber villages and fortified granaries, to reach the Arous River gorge and Ayt Sayd we're rewarded with our first views of Ighil Mgoun (4071m). On reaching Azib Ikiss we set up camp and prepare for our first night under canvas.

- Day 4 : Ikiss n Arouss (2400m) - Tarkadit Plateau (2900m)
The morning starts in a wild landscape with a steadily rising traverse towards the Tizi-n-Omskik (2910m) than up to the Aghouri pass (3450m) enjoying fantastic views. We then descend on trails leading towards our camp beside a mountain hut at 2900m surrounded by spectacular scenery in the stunningly beautiful Tarkeddit Plateau.

- Day 5 : The Ascension of Mgoun summit (4071m)
An early start is needed for those ascending Jebel Mgoun (4071m). The ridge to Mgoun is breath-taking and offers unforgettable trekking. The peak of Mgoun affords splendid views and some fantastic opportunities for 'summit photos!'. The ascent of Mgoun is optional; those who do not wish to make this ascent will have the opportunity to take a walk around the camp. Descent by the same route and night in the same camp as the day before.

- Day 6 : Tarkadit plateau (2900m) - Asdrem pass (3200m) - Tassgaywalt (2325m)
Today we hike to the western end of the plateau before climbing over Tizi N'Asdrem (3216m). Our steep descent into the Tessaout Valley takes us through incredible rocky scenery before reaching our camp at the village of Tasgaywalt (2325m).

- Day 7 : Tassgaywalt (2325m) - Ait Ali Nitto (1800m)
We descend the Tessaout Valley and discover its pretty villages: Amzriy, Ichbaken and a Ait Hamza known by earth houses. We finish our gradual descent in the village of Ait Ali Nitto and overnight in a gite.

- Day 8 : Ait Ali Nitto (1800m) - Megdaz (2000m) - Azib n Taoudja (2020m)
Leaving the Tessaout Valley, we head south towards the impressively located village of Megdaz (2000m) considered the most beautiful of the High Atlas, before starting a steep climb up to Tizi Awrghiz (2450m.) After reaching the top we head downhill passing shepherd huts until we reach Tagoukht then to our camp in the Taoudja sheepfolds at 2020m.

- Day 9 : Azib n Taoudja (2020m) - Anghomar pass (3350m) - Tamda lake (2550m)
Today we walk over the foothills of Jebel Anghomar (3608m), before reaching a small notch in the ridge and the beautiful valley that surrounds Tamda Lake (2550m). This small glacial lake set at the heart of the Mountains is a rare sight in Morocco and one of the great landscapes of the trip. Camp by the lake.

- Day 10 : Tamda Lake (2550m) - Azib n Anfargal (2300m) - Tighza (1900m)
Relax and easy hike today takes us all the way downhill to enjoy the Anfargal sheepfold’s peace then to our night village in Tighza, first village of the Ounila valley. Landscapes and buildings are in red earth, contrasting with the green of the cultivated fields. Overnight in a charming gite.

- Day 11 : Tighza (1900m) - Telouate (1800m)
Our day starts on trails surrounded by walnut and almond groves before climbing to a small plateau overlooking the Telouat Valley. After following a dry riverbed and reaching Telouat Village we camp not far from the atmospheric Kasbah of the El Glaoui family.

- Day 12 : Telouate (1800m) - Adrar Mahboub pass (2400m) - Afra plateau (1900m)
Today after crossing the Mahboub Pass at 2400m we descend to the Tizzi n'Tichka before crossing the main Marrakech - Ouarzazate Road. The afternoon sees us setting up camp on the Afra plateau at 1900m high.

- Day 13 : Afra plateau (1900m) - Yagour plateau - Agdal n'Irkane (2300m)
Today we trek from the Afra valley up to the Yagour plateau. Initial trails take us through small villages which offer great views up the valley towards Bou Oughiwl and Aghoujdid. From our camp at Agdal n'Irkane (2300m) we'll see flocks of sheep being driven home by local shepherds.

- Day 14 : Agdal n’Irkane (2300m) - Agadir n Ait Boulmane (1400m)
Today starts with "front row seats" as we witness the dispersal of flocks to their grazing! After traversing up to an excellent viewpoint of the High Atlas we descend into the Ourika Valley. The afternoon sees us continuing upstream to our camp at the mouth of the Agadir n'Ait Boulmane Gorge (1400m).

- Day 15 : Agadir n Ait Boulmane (1400m) - Assaka - Boukchoud bergeries (2550m)
Our initial trail follows a spectacular balcony path offering stunning views before hiking up through the Berber village of Amenzal perched on the mountainside then to our camp in Boukchoud at 2550m, and witness the return of the shepherds and their flocks.

- Day 16 : Boukchoud (2550m) - Azib n Tinzar (3100m) - Assif n Ouray (2950m)
Today we start our walk climbing up to cross the Tizi n Omchichka (3085m) to reach the high altitude pastures then a busy walk with many ghost and sheep. Fantastic view of the Toubkal range. Then we go up the neck of Tinzar (3100m) and then descend to spend the night on the banks of Assif n Ouray.

- Day 17 : Assif n Ouray (2950m) - Tizi n'Ouray (3130m) - Amsouzart – Ifni lake (2300m)
The hike over the neck of Ouray (3130m) offers a view of the Toubkal, the Assif Tizgui valley and the village of Tissaldaï. It leads to the valley of Amsouzart, numerous walnut trees that shade plots of cultivated land and its beautiful village. Picnic lunch in the shade of walnut trees, and departs to the Ifni Lake (2300m), camp by the lake.

- Day 18 : Ifni Lake (2300m) - Tizi n Ouanoumss (3650m) - Neltner refuge (3207m)
After leaving our camp, the trekking is tough but unforgettable as we start a long climb to cross one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the Atlas - The Tizi-n-Ouanoums (3650m). Situated between two peaks - Toubkal and Ouanoukrim our steep afternoon descent ends at the Neltner Refuge (3207m) in its secluded location.

- Day 19 : Ascension of Toubkal (4167 m) - return to Neltner
Our early start heads steeply up above the refuge zig-zagging across scree and boulders before reaching the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4167m) - North Africa's highest peak. After pausing for panoramic views and a "summit shot, » The descent from the peaks takes us to our camp near the Neltner refuge. Same camp.

- Day 20 : Neltner (3207m) - Sidi chamharouch (2400m) - Aroumd (1900m)
Our walk this morning takes us down to the small village of Aroumd (1950m) Crossing the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamharouch, set beside a small waterfall and a jumbled cluster of village houses clinging to the rock face. Relaxing afternoon

- Day 21 : Walk to Imlil - drive to Marrakech - free afternoon
Few minutes walk down to Imlil, we then drive back to Marrakesh where, on arrival, we have some free time to explore the city’s colorful souks and perhaps take a stroll around its celebrated Djemma El Fna Square. A feast for the senses, the square is a wonderful confusion of noise and color, where you will find the streets alive with storytellers, musicians, jugglers and water-sellers: the perfect place to haggle for some last minute presents, or just sit at a cafe and watch the spectacle unfold before you

- Day 22 : The end of the Atlas adventure
Transfer to the Marrakech airport. Flight back home.
On our return to Marrakech, we have time to explore the old Arab quarter. Famous for its souks (markets) and for the quality of its handicrafts. Moreover the unique experience will not be complete without a visit to the spectacular Acts that take place in the Jamaa El Fana square. This is the ultimate Morocco trekking long traverse of the Atlas Mountains.
On our return to Marrakech, we have time to explore the old Arab quarter. Famous for its souks (markets) and for the quality of its handicrafts. Moreover the unique experience will not be complete without a visit to the spectacular Acts that take place in the Jamaa El Fana square.
