Holiday Itinerary

• Day 1 :     Fly  to  Marrakech  

Join tour in Marrakech. Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting Complimentary airport transfers are provided for clients arriving on this day.

• Day 2 :  Marrakech  -  Tizi n Test  -  Tislit (1500m)

We drive from your accommodation in Marrakech via the Tizi n'Test to the south side of Jebel Sirwa in the Taliouine region between the Anti-Atlas and the Souss. Meeting with our local team and leaving the vehicles we then walk on a trail through stunning gorges and cultivated fields to reach our camp at Tislit.

• Day 3 :   Tislit  -  Ait Oubyal  -  Tizgui

A day of contrasts as we hike through the green valley of the Assif n'Ait Oubyal, as we pass through several villages we have the chance to meet the local people. Above Tizgui, we ascend steeply to our camp on a summer grazing pasture (2325m).

• Day 4 :  Tizgui  -  Guiliz peak (2900m)  -  Tagragra

Today we trek over the crest of Guiliz Peak (2900m) which offers splendid views of Jebel Sirwa and descend to our camp near the caves at Tagragra (2600m). With 500 metres of ascent.

• Day 5 :  Tagragra  -  Sirwa Summit (3305m)  -  Tissouitine

Our trek today takes us through a rocky landscape of steep sided gorges and rock outcrops and on to the summit of Jebel Sirwa (3305m) with fine views of the High Atlas and Anti Atlas. We descend to camp in the high meadows of Tissouitine (2450m). With 700 meters of ascent and 800 meters of descent.

• Day 6 :   Tissouitine   -  Ighmour Valley  -  Tomahakout

After a short descent, we climb to cross a pass that leads into the Ighmour Valley. We walk through several villages and descend finally to the fields of Tomahakout, where we set up camp.  With 340 meters of ascent and 840 meters of descent.

6 hrs walk  /  Meals: B, L, D  /  camp

• Day 7 :  Tomahakout  -  Tamazight   -   Marrakech

Hiking out through a rugged landscape for 2 hours to Tamazight, we have views of Jebel Sirwa behind us. We then board our vehicle for the drive back across the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech. Time to visit the remarkable central square of the Djema el-Fna.

• Day 8 :     Marrakech Airport

Transfer to the Marrakech airport. Flight back home.
